Great location, but noisy nights
The hotel's location near Jemaa el-Fnaa was perfect for exploring Marrakech. I enjoyed the friendly staff and their attentive service during breakfast, a good start to each day.
Unfortunately, noise levels were disruptive, especially at night. With echoes in the marble corridors and music from a nearby bar, it made for some restless evenings after a long day of exploring.

Location is ideal. View from rooftop restaurant is fantastic. Staff very friendly.
Make your reservation in "Local Currency" to avoid bad exchange rate at checkout.

The room is cheap and quiet with breakfast. 10 minutes drive to the airport, it is located close to the main square where a lot of the tourist attraction is.

The rooftop terrace provided excellent views, a standout feature for unwinding after a busy day. The breakfast options were a unique highlight, awesome for a taste of local flavor each morning.
Unfortunately, the lack of maintenance was glaring. A broken headboard and uncomfortable bed really needed attention. The bathroom had lukewarm water, no shampoo, and missing stoppers in the sink, a hassle. The room's decor felt tacky, and there was only one electrical outlet available. With the echo of marble floors and loud noise levels from the bar and hallways, it often reminded me of rest was out of reach.

The view from the terrace, helpful polite staff
Rooms not up to scratch, old bedding and towels. Lot of dirt under the bed. Generally dated. Wouldn't stay there and pay that much

To be honest the only advantage of this hotel is the proximity to attractions such as Jamaa Alfana I still can not say it is a good location because its on a very busy street. In the room I stayed the toilet was poor the exhaust fan was not working. The rugs on corridors were shabby and loose on floor. It does not reflect its advertised image at all and I believe it does not deserve even two star rating let alone three. The rate was exaggerated I now stay at Imperial Holday 4 star at less rate through your own agency!

The rooftop terrace overlooking Koutoubia provided nice breakfasts, while the double glazing effectively muted the bustling street noise below.

Superb location, lovely staff. I speak 10 words Arabic, so befriended all staff immediately. Simple but good hotel. Saw many comments on hygiene. Either they improved their performance or I was lucky? Good clean room, towels everywhere, no problem at all!
Nothing to be honest. It is on a very busy street, but my room was at the back of the hotel, so no problems there? You can always ask to switch rooms I guess? And again in my humble opinion, people complaining about the muezzin chanting from the minaret should not visit muslim countries!!! That is just an insane thing to complain about?!?!

The location is great and very helpful staff
Our room was released to us without having been cleaned, which caused a very bad impression. The cleanliness of the room is not the best, especially the bathroom.

Staying at Islane was quite the experience. The hotel's location was fantastic, just a short walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa. I appreciated the friendly service at breakfast and the delicious options available. The rooftop dining area offered fine views of the city. My first room had a strong cigarette smell, unpleasant. I switched to another room, but the bathroom had a terrible stench. The staff was nice and the rooms were cleaned daily, but the cleanliness could be improved in general. When the hot water in the shower was activated, it was triggered by the sink tap, a bit odd. Despite these issues, the comfortable bed made for a decent night's sleep.

Location, terrace
It's not a 3 star hotel. We're not very demanding trevellers but we changed the room twice. First had dirty bedsheets, second - terrible smell. All three rooms were very old and dark, towels and bedsheets are very old. No elevator, hotel is a labirynth of corridors and stairs. Only pastry for breakfast.

Great location,English speaking staff;); you can book various trips and attractions at the reception desk as well as exchange currencies if you need to.No hassle ans really close to the main market. There was no hot water in the shower when we got there and we have been moved to another room immediately.Overall, very nice and good value for money, definitely.
coffee served fro breakfast was absolutely disgusting! The waiter in the restaurant asked for a tip straight away when I asked if it would be possible to borrow his wine opener for a minute.

Decent Stay with Potential for Improvement
I experienced both discomfort due to room allocation issues and a cute atmosphere overall. I enjoyed the basic yet plentiful breakfast, and the lobby staff were friendly and accommodating. Future guests should not hesitate to ask for a room in the main area for a better experience.

Excellent value and fancy hotel with very friendly staff at the reception desk, liked our staying. The rooms were brand-new and good-sized with functional bathroom. A safe box, a mini bar and central heating were important for us. The location was wonderful - just next door to beautiful Marrakech, the Koutoubia Mosque and near the main Market, the Djemma Square, and the gardens and mosque.

The best thing about this hotel is its proximity to djemma al fena square, the souks and other attractions. The koutoubia mosque is literally across the road, we had views of the mosque from our bedroom window. This is the third time we have stayed at Hotel Islane. It is clean and cheap considering its location, and we would recommend it!
